We operate Oasis Appliance & Home Furnishings (merged with Hope Again-Second Chance Boutique) in North Memphis, a pre-owned appliance & home goods store in the neighborhood to help families obtain what they couldn't afford elsewhere. Are you upgrading anything in your home or outfitting your vacation property? We'll even come to your home and pick up your seconds if you need us to. We are currently looking for appliances, beds, TVs, furniture, artwork, home decor, and baby items. We also need volunteers with trucks who are willing to help pick up donated items & deliver them to the store. Contact us for more information.
Today's economy is making it hard to find enough money to donate to organizations like Oasis Of Hope, even when you believe in their mission. But did you know there's a way that you can donate to Oasis without giving us a penny? There is! Kroger's Community Rewards Program allows you to designate Oasis of Hope to receive 3-5% of what you spend in their store. So, let's say you spend $100 in groceries at Kroger, then they will send Oasis a check for $5.00! It really is that simple! Amazon Smile has a similar program. Will you join us? It's easy to get started. Contact us for more information.
What began as an inner city choir performance featuring eleven girls from North Memphis, has evolved into an official subsidiary under Oasis of Hope. Angel Street focuses on mentoring individuals, team building, and united fellowship through collaborations with other youth ministries. The Angel Street experience is an outlet of creativity that strives to invest in young artists to encourage, nurture and develop deep desires for furthering education. Angel Street is available to girls ages 10-18 from several schools in the area (Caldwell-Guthrie, Humes Prep Academy, KIPP, MAHS). Auditions were held at the beginning of the fall semester, as there are only a certain number of available spots.Meetings will take place once a week on Thursdays from 5-630p at the Bickford Community Center (12 weeks each semester), which will include an introduction to basic music education, team building, fun activities, creative art projects, and performance opportunities during special events. Our long-term goals are to develop songwriting skills and experience professional live studio recordings (in Memphis and/or Nashville). Contact us for more information.
Since we work with kids young and old year-round, we are always in need of snacks, snacks and more snacks! Often times the only meal a child receives is given in the school cafeteria or during our after-school programs. Due to this, we need a lot of healthy snacks such as: individual juice pouches, bottled water, raisins, fruit snacks, granola bars, graham crackers, applesauce, fruitcups, etc. We are also looking for slightly used books for our 1st-5th graders. Contact Kathleen for more information.
We'll work magic with your old bike and not only fix it up, but mentor a child to learn how to fix it himself, provide opportunities for him/her to earn that bike, and then take them on group biking outings! Not only will your bike get a new life, but more importantly, children will be mentored through this process by a caring adult and will be introduced to a healthier lifestyle! The GreenLine is scheduled to be built to run right through our ministry neighborhood! Contact Bill or check out The Bike Shop's webpage for more information.
Do you have a good idea fundraising idea? Are you good at philanthropy? Due to several exciting opportunities happening right now, we need to seek out more funding! Contact us for more information.
The Oasis Easter Egg Hunt is a well-attended event! We need LOTS and LOTS of candy-filled eggs to hide for the various age levels who wait all year for the infamous hunt! This eggs-citing event is for all ages and includes a spiritual message, food and entertainment. Contact us for more information.
Volunteer your time or sponsor an inner city teenager to give them the opportunity to get out of the city and away from the noise of their everyday lives that distract them from God!! For most kids, this camp will be the first time they've gone beyond the city limits and will get to experience such a getaway! Every kid deserves the chance to attend Bible camp; please sponsor someone today or pitch in and give us a hand and provide this potentially life-changing event for them! Send checks to Oasis of Hope and write 'summer camp' in the memo. Contact Terry for more information.

We will gladly accept bulk quantities, whenever possible! Monetary donations are always appreciated as well. Contact us for more information.
