About 25 people traveled to Alabama in early June to the cities of Selma, Montgomery and Birmingham to walk the same path that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and others walked in the late 50s and 60s during the Civil Rights Movement. It was a powerful history lesson as we listened to the stories of that day from many first-hand witnesses and learned about the historic Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church, the Edmund Pettus Bridge and much more! Read blog posts from those in attendance and get a glimpse of the impact this trip has had! And mark your calendars to come along with us next June!
